I’m sorry about the post title, I couldn’t think of anything! And who doesn’t like a smiley face?

Well, school is going pretty good, I guess. It’s school, so it’s not that exciting. xP I’m enjoying my classes for the most part, but they aren’t super cool or anything. Chemistry, French 2, PE, Band, and History. Just your basics.

In other news, I’m trying to work the courage up to call the boy that I like. I’ll call him..hmm “X” (hey-I’m not very creative at this very second, give me a break!) So X and I met at a sesonal job back in October. We flirted a little one night, and we’ve kind of keep in touch via text messaging. Then we became friends on facebook. But, I was told that texting was lame (my my awesome friends on Ravelry), and that I should call him-confidence is hot. I’m think that I might, but I don’t want to when my whole family can here- cause all I’ll get it “You’re calling a bbbooooyyyy.” It would never end, lol. Should I call X?

New Semester Starts Soon…

So after exam week, and some snow days, our new semester starts tomorrow. I’m dreading it, because I have NO advanced classes. Now, I’m not trying to sound all snotty, but I am an advanced “gifted and talented” student. The way my schedule panned out is that I had all of my advanced classes 1st semester, and the others this semester. I’m desperately trying to change them, or at least one. So I’m going to have to go to the “college-prep” classes for a few days. Wish me good scheduling luck!

I thought that I’d tell ya’ll what I’m into now, just a sort of quick list. Please give feedback on how the shorter, more frequent blog posts are!

-malabrigo yarn. one word: yum!
-bath and body works. I love B&BW, especially the Coconut Lime Verbena. it smells like summer!
-LifeSavers in Sweet Mint: they are soo good!
-Crosswords. fun!
-hand sanitizer. I been on a sanitary freak lately. Prob. b/c i get sick so much. I like the B&BW “PocketBac”s because they smell yummy!

I’m sad about school starting back up again. But, then again, I’m happy because I have fun (sometimes) at school. whatever. it’ll be fine, I guess. But i have to get up at 5 again. kill me.

Well, technically it isn’t 2009, yet, but it is almost here. Tonight I’m going to a party (no, not a party like that. it seriously is a whole bunch of girls at a slumber party.) so I can’t blog at the stroke of midnight. We will be toasting sparkling cider and watching the ball drop, also celebrating my friend Katie’s birthday, which is Jan 1. (I believe she was like the 3/4th baby born in the new year that year.)

Hey guys! I’m pretty sure I had my blogaversiry a while back, but since I’m such a bad blogger I have only published 25 posts. I’m super sorry, but I had an extremely busy day and it’s hard to make time for blogs. But I am trying to be better, and that’s one of my resolutions. I have been knitting, after a while of not, which is nice. What would you guys like better: long posts every once in a while, or a constant stream of short blogs? I think I’m going with the latter. I also have a twitter! Follow me! I’m knittchick there as well!

Can you tell? Yep, I love fall. It’s well into fall, and I’m in love. I’ve actually starting fall knitting and sewing. And I have pictures! Yay!

here ya go:

first is a hat, done on 13s, with Lion Brand Thick and Quick, rasberry

then my sewed scarf, with a patchwork of flowed and a blue, and then an old white long sleeved tee on the back, with a lil’ pocket!

then, is my knit scarf (one enlarged, one not), from this awesome pattern, which is knit one, yarn over, knit two together, until end, knit one! try it! using Lion Brand Thick and Quick in pumpkin

1st week: done

So, I finished my first week of school. It’s okay. I don’t know if I like it yet, but I’m sure it won’t be terrible, so that’s good.
